eLearning can be very powerful when learning new software tools, new procedures and procedures. In most situtations, eLearning wil only be part of the solution. Live instructors are still needed for more complex subjects.
The importance of supporting application user groups after a system goes-live cannot be understated. A critical point in any system implementation – and one that is frequently overlooked – comes well after go-live. It is the day a system user logs on to the new system, possibly months after go-live, and fails to remember what he or she learned in training.
To give this user the tools he or she needs to be successful, Be Ready for Change uses a variety of development tools to create online help systems, also called Electronic Performance Support Systems (EPSS).
The EPSS system is different from a traditional online help system insofar as it focuses on processes and roles, not just application functionality.
